Phlebotomist FT -
Full-time

Phlebotomist FT - WILLING TO TRAIN.

Properly identifies the patient.  Collects and prepares laboratory specimens such as urine, blood and sputum from patients.

Labels all specimens with patient name, medical records number, date of birth, and date and time of collection.

Determines the best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patient.  Transports all samples to the laboratory.  Maintains the phlebotomy draw areas, keeping them clean, well-stocked and organized.

Practices infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment.  Consults with the ordering provider and/or the clinical laboratory director when necessary to clarify unusual test orders.

Medical Lab Technician FT -

MUST BE EXPERIENCED IN PHLEBOTOMY. Plans priorities of work to be completed each day.  Checks validity and accuracy of test results obtained by laboratory personnel.

Performs various chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.  Keeps records pertaining to tests performed and charts test results to ensure that variation in test results and standards are within acceptable quality control ranges.

Gives instruction to new workers in procedures and techniques of performing tests.  May direct and train students of laboratory science.

Chief Medical Officer -

Langdon Prairie Health (LPH) is seeking a Chief Medical Officer who will be responsible for providing medical direction for the Hospital and Clinic’s health care activities and consultation for, and medical supervision of, the health care staff. He/She will work in conjunction with other Physicians and Nurse Practitioners and participate in the development, execution and review of the CAH’s and RHC’s written policies and services provided to Federal program Patients. The Chief Medical Officer will also periodically review the CAH and RHC Patient’s records, provide medical orders, and provide medical care services to the Patients of LPH. The Medical Director will be a doctor of medicine or osteopathy and legally authorized to practice medicine and surgery by the State of North Dakota.

Therapy Aide (Tech) -

Langdon Prairie Health is looking for Therapy Aide to support our therapists and ensure smooth operation of our therapy department, 32 hours/week.

Responsibilities will include preparing treatment areas, cleaning and maintaining equipment, assisting with transporting patients within the facility, scheduling appointments and returning phone calls, assisting with quality assurance programs, etc. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. A working knowledge of Excel and Word is preferred.

Responsible for delivery of emergency and non-emergency care. Must be competent in trauma and medical situations, both pre-hospital and in hospital. Will provide ALS level treatment and transport for the sick or injured. Pay depends upon experience.
